Janelle & Itu – A Fijian wedding at Hatley Castle

FUN. That’s pretty much all I can say about this wedding. When I met with Janelle and Itu last year all I was thinking was “please book me, this will be so much fun!” Truly, the expectations didn’t even come close to how awesome this wedding was. Janelle & Itu got married at Hatley Castle before we went downtown to take a few pics and then to the reception at the Leonardo Da Vinci Center. I had one of my best friends, Jon-Mark, help photograph the day with me. I have second shot with him a few times so it was nice to have him come out for such a colorful wedding. There are a lot of pics here, lots of color, lots of dancing and hopefully it really expresses how amazing Janelle and Itu’s day was. Enjoy the pics and my last wedding of this season!

Jenn & Curtis at Starling Lane Winery

Another beautiful wedding…

I work with Curtis down at Dockyard and when he asked me to shoot him and Jenn I was pretty excited. They are both low key kind of people and seemed a bit nervous about having their picture taken. I’m sure they’d agree that it was a piece of cake looking back at it now. I can’t wait for them to see their entire gallery! The girls and guys got ready at Starling Lane in the morning before Curtis and Jenn met each other for their first look on a shaded private pathway at the Winery. I love the anticipation Curtis had with his hands crossed at his waist. Jenn was seriously glowing as she walked down and I loved it. We hung out at the winery for a bit after the ceremony where the guests enjoyed some wine sampling and I’ll admit I went home with a bottle. So good!

This is one of my last weddings of the year that I’ll be blogging and I’m sad to see them come to an end. However I am extremely stoked to photograph the couples I have already and look forward to meeting more. I just want to  thank everyone for checking out my pics this year and I hope you enjoyed the stories of all these awesome couples. Anyways….Here. Is. Curtis & Jenn…Married
