Some time with my son

Heeey everyone. It’s just about spring time and another full season of engagement shoots and weddings is just around the corner. I’ve been using this downtime to figure out how to manage my business from bills and workflow to branding and family balance. This past couple of days I’ve been focusing on organizing my image storage for both weddings and my own family portraits. As I was going through some photos I came across this set from an afternoon I spent with my son that I wanted to share. I LOVE having this alone time with my mini me and this was a big part of the balance I needed to figure out for my business.

We spent some time walking around St. Ann’s Academy before heading down to the breakwater during that really windy spell a while back. I don’t often head downtown but I’m glad we took the time. As much as I’ve seen it I need to remember that pretty much everything is new to my boy. Anyways, here’s Josh, just loving being a kid…

we ran into a buddy of mine who was getting ready to go ride some of the wind swell.I LOVE THESEhahah. My kid has never had a hard time sleeping. It is actually difficult to wake him and it was pretty funny watching the stages of ‘coming to.’ Us Deringers don’t look so good when we wake up.BUT…Ice cream was awaiting at Mr. Tubb’s…
