I thought I’d do something different for this blog post. I’m usually posting someone else’s adorable family or gorgeous wedding but I like the idea of posting some family photos of mine. October has been a gorgeous month, weddings have ended for me for the year and we’ve had a bunch of opportunities to get outside with the kids. This past couple of weeks we have checked out Goldstream and hoped on seeing the salmon spawn as well as going for the Galey Farms pumpkin picking run. Our good friends, Justin & Tricia, and their kids joined us on a cool October day for the corn maze, train ride and hay ride. There’s a photo of the boys in this set that is hilarious. I think you’ll see it. We went out to Goldstream again yesterday and it looks like the salmon have finally come home although there aren’t many yet. I also included some family pics in the post from around the house…giving the kids a bath, feeding Alison and just random pics.
The one thing I encourage all you parents out there to do is TAKE PICTURES! I think I take an absurd amount, probably around 4000 photos I couldn’t delete last year. I truly hope that when my kids get older and get married that they marry someone whose parents took a lot of photos because the slideshows for my kids are going to be ridiculous. Tons of photos, lots of music, a hundred photos from every year…hah. Anyways, I hope you pull that camera out and just start shooting. Have fun, and don’t forget to get in a few of the pics as well.

I’m starting the apprenticeship with Josh already. “Carry this, go get that!” He’ll be helping me at weddings in no time.
The last couple pics coming up. My kids are the cutest ever, ever and if you don’t think so, that’s ok. =P
