Heeeey! I have a blog post to share! This set is from an engagement shoot I did in mid August of Miesha & Trent. It was a stunning evening, the sunlight was perfect and it was warm, really warm. I met with Miesha & Trent at Elk Lake and we obviously enjoyed the golden grass complimented by the golden sunlight. We really scored and got some amazing pics.
I was talking with my wife today and we were discussing my portfolio, my printed one. My wife, Tracey, had put together a very nice album of a bunch of prints I have to show clients when we first meet and we started to look at each individual set. It was interesting to see how in every couple, no matter the location, has a different feel. I have shot at Elk Lake a few times and each time I can set a couple up but their interactions are truly what make the photos what they are…unique to the couple.
The feeling I had when shooting and going through Miesha and Trent’s photos had me thinking about how these two are best friends. Everything they did they were touching, holding hands, smiling and laughing. It is a lot of fun to shoot couples where their friendship with one another is so obvious. I really enjoyed this shoot and can’t wait to take their photos again at their wedding next year. Miesha and Trent – Sorry about the wait, I hope you love your photos!
By the way, doesn’t her dress look gorgeous with the grass? I love the blue!
This next photo on the dock is definitely my favorite, I love it!
