So, the wedding season has begun! This was my first wedding of the season and I have to admit it was a bit nerve racking and exciting and fun all at the same time. It makes a wedding easy when a couple is as fun and silly as them. The day just seemed to fly by. Kristen & Garret are a really amazing couple and it becomes apparent why when you meet their family and friends. Everything they did on their wedding day from the invites to the photos to videography was kept within their circle of friends and it was an honour to be chosen for such a large part of their day.
I had such a hard time keeping this post to a set number of images so I thought I may as well just go for it and do a massive post for the beginning of the wedding season. There are so many of my new favorites in here and I hope you all enjoy the day, in photos.
Kristen looked absolutely amazing. I kept taking pictures, I couldn’t stop. Such a classic looking bride.
Kristen’s sister, the Maid of Honour, zipping her up. I love these types of photos.
Kristen’s grandmother putting on her pearl necklace. These next dyptychs really make me love wedding photos. When both Kristen’s Grandmother and Father saw her for the first time there was an actual gasp let out. They were such memorable moments and I’m glad I could capture them.
Something new! I love this shot below.
The ceremony was held at the Alix Goolden Hall downtown and it was probably one of my favorite places to shoot a ceremony as well as concerts. It’s an amazing location.
The after shots!
There’s a picture of me out there somewhere.
I don’t know what I did to this little guy. I should have apologized anyways.
The Father-Daughter dance.
The bling! Got to love the bokeh.
Kristen and Garret had a pre-rehearsed classical dance and wowed everyone. I loved it.
